Kandy Kane September 2015 Favorites

So I have not done a monthly favorite on my blog before…

It’s quite a popular post, not only for bloggers but vloggers as well. I have never been a huge fan of video hauls and faves videos so I decided to turn to my blog for doing one of these. Let me know if you love this kind of post and I will definitely return the end of next month with another favorites post.

If you are not sure what monthly favorites are. Here’s a quick explanation :

“Monthly Favorites” is when a Person (blogger in this instance) chooses the products they either preferred or loved for that certain month and give you the details on why it’s so awesome. It can be anything from makeup to food or even a magazine or tv show.

So here we go….

I am quite chuffed with my new handbag. It’s practically 2 days old. So can you actually believe that my previous handbag’s shoulder strap and handles snapped in the same day. I have lost 3 handbags in the past few months. I decided that I will invest in a good one when I see one worth splurging on. So as I was strolling past the Edgars department stores in Sandton City, my eye caught this Forever New Handbag. And I decided it was worth the R799 spent.

I love any nude handbags for the fact that you can pair it up with any outfit. I’m not a girl who owns a few handbags and switches between them to match my outfit for the day. I prefer sticking with one.

Apart from the beautiful chic exterior, it was actually the simplicity of the organising pockets inside that won me over. This handbag has 5 compartments. Three close up with zips and two has magnetic clips. The middle compartment is lined with swayed which is AMAZING because my MACbook fits perfectly in here (for those travelling days). You also have smaller slots inside for cards, pens or little random things.

This Catrice Kohl Kajal was ft in one of my recent hauls. And I have been loving this minty hued eyeliner because not only does it make your eyes pop when paired up with a lovely plum or brown makeup look but it also glides on like a breeze and lasts quite long. (R34.95 at your local Dischem)

This beautiful acrylic display won my heart over since day one, making it so much easier to identify the available foundations, primers or BB creams. For a full review >click here< to read my post about   Crystal Cube (all pricing and contact details on blogpost)
I used to keep all of these items in a glass bowl and would so easily forget what I had, now it just declutters everything while giving me a clear choice of what I would want to use for the day.
Benefit’s Porefessional Primer is everyone’s favorite I suppose. The translucent , oil-free formula enriched with a Vitamin E derivative minimizes the appearance of pores and fine lines while also helping your makeup stay put all day. It’s really a product that delivers what it promises. (R395 at selected Edgars)
When I first bought this and blogged about it in my haul I mentioned that I have always bounced back to Maybelline Illegal Length, well I think I might just have found my new mascara soulmate. They’re Real! really creates the illusion of fuller and longer lashes after about 3 coats. Love it and you would too!
Im not a huge lip balm fan, but this Dexe Pineappled flavoured lipbalm only costs R25 at Dischem, and apart from the cute “eos” lookalike packaging, it’s a perfect handbag friend and lip buddy.
I don’t really have oily skin, but when it comes to cleansers I prefer something that is deep cleansing for the reason that I love my full coverage makeup. I received a sample of the Ultra Facial Oil-free cleanser -for normal to oily skin types back in 2012, but only recently purchased the full size. What a pleasure! A small amount (and Im talking about 0,25ml) lathers beautifully and cleanses any makeup buildup or impurities. (R275 at any Kiehl’s at Edgars)
The famous Moroccanoil Treatment Light. This travel size (25ml) is perfect for any jetsetter. Since I have been doing a lot of travelling lately, I really value having a smaller size like this one to treat and nourish my hair, even when I’m away from home. (R190 at any Moroccanoil Professional Stocked Salon)
Speaking of travelling. I am on the road most of the time, and being on the road means passing a lot of take away franchises. I love take aways but since I have been busy getting back into shape I keep one of these babies with me to snack on whenever the craving hits me. Almonds are super good for you and great for snacking on while driving . (R80 at Woolworths Foods)
That concludes my favorites for the month of September 2015. Maybe I matched some of yours? Let me know in the comment section down below what’s your favorite product?
